The historic & beautiful medieval village of Grimaud is on the side of a hill topped with its famous castle. It’s a five-minute walk from the Villa to the centre of the village where there is a selection of high class shops and boutiques and an excellent choice of restaurants and cafes. There is a market on Thursday mornings for local produce.
The views from the castle are spectacular and you can reward yourself for the climb with a treat from either of the two Patisseries afterwards – both of which offer excellent bread, Gateaux and chocolates or, perhaps, a beer or coffee at 'Clem's Bar'.
